Every one has a story to tell. What's yours, Sistah? Our words are as varied as we are. Our stories differently reflect our lives. And yet, because we share a common experience, we know that there is an audience for almost any tale we have to tell.
Is your thing poetry, the short story, the novel? Are you writing copy for a publication and looking for new possibilities? We want to hear from you. We invite you to audition your work for the BWA stage. You can also consult with our Literary Associate on publication. You can have your texts proof read and edited.
We promise to give honest, clear and specific feedback on your work. We intend that any feedback allows you to see what your next step might be. Your work will be assessed by published writers or others who are experienced in writing, editing, conducting literary assessments and who have an ear to the literary ground.
